choosing pictures for Sheffield...

It's really hard to choose which pictures to choose to send to galleries when they leave it up to me!

The ones I love the most aren't always the ones that sell the best (and sometimes the ones I love sell not at all!) and different things sell in different galleries.  How does it all work?  Oh, and they have to all work together in some way, as a kind of 'set', so that the selection is interesting to flick through in a print browser.  The best way of choosing seems to be to spread them out everywhere!

This time they all also have to be images that are the size of a £20 note or smaller too.

These pictures are going to the Cupola Gallery in Sheffield for a 'Miniatures' exhibition if I can ever settle on which ones to send...

They all look wonderful....what a difficult decision. You look like you could go with a bird theme maybe. I do rather love the naked couple though!
Good luck

I love your birds, so I imagine they would be popular. Also your veg/alotment ones. My favourites are your Bristol ones as well.

It's very good that you have lots of prints to choose from - I think you can fill a few galleries. I love your animals, your cat and foxes are brilliant!

Your prints are fab and am sure any gallery would love them, but I do know what you mean. I have the same dilemma - and some things sell from one gallery that don't sell from another ... what's that all about? xCathy

I think it's all just a big game of chance. I can never find any rhyme or reason for what sells where. You just gotta give it a try and if it doesn't work change em round! Love your work btw!! I loved lino but haven't worked with it for ages!
