In the meantime we are enjoying our 'chicken summer holidays'...I think the quail will be very pleased when their giant neighbours move on too.Melanie Wickhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10046126702730732136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4053279643078550669.post-59320017038175417462011-07-21T16:52:54.121+01:002011-07-21T16:52:54.121+01:00Put them on the naughty step until they start prod...Put them on the naughty step until they start producing. The only thing they did do that was naughty was to try and eat the slow worms! But on the whole they were very entertaining. xThe Pea Podhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03431266336870053342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4053279643078550669.post-44299394721535222082011-07-21T15:40:54.539+01:002011-07-21T15:40:54.539+01:00Hello Melanie:

The chicken were certainly very stylish [Black Rocks] but they squabbled amongst themselves almost continuously and finally had to go back to the farm from which they came.

The eggs, however, were wonderful!!

We wish you well with your chicken keeping. It is not, in our view, an easy life.Jane and Lance Hattatthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16831890261259302647noreply@blogger.com
